Salab e Tahreer

Charag e toor reh guzaar na hua.
Phir apna koi gum gusaar na hua.

Araish e khayal se mutmain the sabi,
Hum ko mallal hai deedaar na hua.

Shamil o shareek ik yaar hum hue.
Jis yaar ka koi ikh-ti-yaar na hua.

Salab e Tahreer

Kuch yun ahle hakam ke hum qarazdar hogaye
Jo charagain jalte rahte deedar hota kis kis ka

Chaauoon se uske guzarta, raqs ke paimane main.
Nazr main aata banda jo kirdaar hota kis kis ka.

Sar jukaae baithe the, ki tabiyat kuch theek na thi
Haal jo apna pooch wo lete, bimaar hota kis kis ka.

Na hota seene main paiwast izhar ka khazina..
Bayan hum karte saleqe se, guftar hota kis kis ka.

Salab e Tahreer

is arizoo pe shama bujaye rakhe the
wo aaye ki ghar ko sajaye rakhe the.

Anjam se kab koi waqif nahi hota
Mudt se dil ko behlaye rakhe the.

Waaiiz uljata beruni rasamu se
Ghar main apne, maikhana rakhe the

Amad pe uske barasne ke liye
Hum badaloon ko manaye rakhe the.

Ik us dost ki talash main Faiq!
Hum charag e dil jalaye rakhe the.

Salab e Tahreer

Sukhane zaar zaar main bi raag e  kamal us ka tha.
Duwlate sikhasta dil main bi husn o jamal us ka tha.

Mehfil agyar main bi pa shoor o khayal us ka tha.

Khulte dahane hum rahe aur raat yun hi gazar chale.
Pochte hum bi tou kya har sawal us ka tha.

Aaine gowhar hota to hai qasb e tarash bi to hai
Mujsme dekhe aur b hain koi na tamsaal us ka tha.

Irfan hum likhte gaye apne sab ranjish baham
Junhi aansoon tapak gaye har malal us ka tha.

Riding Fantasy

Walking through the melancholy gates. I came across deep sentient states. I being, a soul of harbour being. Thy toiling slumber or in seeing. I waking up to the vacant dream. Thy making through by a scream. I rising to the laden cream n cafe. Thy having it all in a scorn farce. I rising to a beam in a jiff aloof. Thy dusting corpus be by cuff. I carass a tinge of prime repute. Thy slew a rope to tie with rebuke. All this being a think to thought. Can't just be humans, all apart.

Fragilty!

Fragile is the belief,
That withstands witless.
As for the torn self,
Existence is in abyss.

Fragile is the Peace,
That be not to fortify
Rotten roots of a maze.
But, be a fickle of a fly.

Fragile is the bond
That longs for a grasp.
Be buzz to be of fond,
Slew stings of a wasp.

Fragile is the word,
Left with the breath.
Shan’t, be a sword,
Sheathed unto death!

Fragile is the fizz,
That soaks with the sip.
Drain whole bit of tizz,
And be with the dip.

Fragile is the soul,
That took a being.
Ought reign a coal,
Un-dusted by its zing.

Fragile is the beauty,
Quashing with a time.
Mays imply a scenty,
Thrashed or in prime!

Fragile is the wisdom
That takes for a reason.
Reaching to a seldom,
Lost with the season.

Fragile is the hope,
That ends with the sight.
Undaunted it be, to elope
Till the heights of flight.

Change!

The selfish, intolerant , indifferent attitude was no more there and it had vanished as it ought to, so snaily, so diminishing that some, rather many, went through it in an untailored way to find the depth of its reality and save themselves from the cunning effects, if, found so. The heights it gained made it look pretty feeble, pretty ordinary  but that was its strength as it was not a matter of a day or even a month rather a slowly growing process which required nothing but patience. Some even found it the deadly silence of the upcoming roar.

The Bussiness of Love!

As the theory "Survival of the fittest" gained acceptance things started to become complex, which was further fuelled by the latest trends and technologies, so in the process a multitude of businesses started, one of them being the business of love. As the word "love" is concerned it is a highly sensitive one. Love is  a reason of human existence. It's a gift to oneself. But in today's materialistic world this word lost its connotation, it now ceases to mean what it used to mean,  its meaning has been confined to 'a romantic relationship between two individuals of opposite sex'. This started with a highly private affair on individual basis, but with the scripting of various heroic acts like Romeo-Juliet, Salim-Anarkali and their characterization with the advent of television, it created a spark of restlessness among the masses. And the current daily soaps provided a slow and a long lasting feel that without it everything else is insignificant. Thus, this whole process gained a lot of attention and finally it has come out of the closet and has got acceptance to be a canny substance. So in that buzz, barters, in the process of making some tangible benefit, started to exploit these already exploited beings in all possible ways and thus giving rise to The Business of Love!
Today, it can be witnessed at every nook and corner, be it parks, roadsides, colleges, restaurants or buses, almost everywhere you see a couple glued together, when together, and to phone when alone. In the bargain they currently provide sustenance to millions be it park owners, cafeterias, telecomm service providers or traffic signal balloon sellers.
The irony has reached to the heights that most of the restaurants are open only for couples where entry for singles is totally prohibited, that is you can’t have a cup of tea there unless you are accompanied by a partner of opposite sex. Go to a paid park alone and you be gazed as if alien hit an un-trodden path.
Telecomm service providers have taken it one step further by introducing special packs for this community like free calling, night packs, sms packs, and the latest video calling on 3G has culminated the constraints laid by the distances. There was a saying, “letter is half a meeting” but now with 3G it is more than a full meet.
For the formal expression of their love, the love birds present gifts to one another on regular basis, and if someone misses or forgets for her/him there are customized reminders in the form of valentine days, rose days etc. If you just analyse the rates of gifts you will be amazed, as to whom they are for, but the business men know the desperations of the folks they intend to grab.
To dress nicely is a good thing to do, to do so for an occasion it even better, doing it for just one person can’t be regarded as the best thing, but that’s a norm and a requirement for these lovely beings, that is a dress once worn is not to be seen again.
Over the last few years this menace has reached to the level of generalization yet it is not seen as a potential topic of debate, because it currently involves a good part of the society in one way or the other. But, instead it has been set free and has been embodied in the minds to be a homely seen.
The question is whether this is love, a true love, or whether love exists. Does not matter whatever the answer be but what really matters is that, The Business of Love Flourishes.
